]]>It’s summer time now in 2022, and while the festivals are looming over the horizon, we’re pleased to announce that the 3.3 update for PVU will be live on May 5th, 2022.https://t.co/fJT4Lk2KZ2#plantvsundead
— Plant vs Undead (@vs_nft) April 27, 2022
One of the major changes will include a much improved user experience for the Barn. This in-game feature has been tasked with converting LE to PVU token since the launch of Farm 3.1. In 3.3 however, Plants Vs Undead is looking to expand their function within the game.
In this update, the Barn will now serve as an isometric, cube-based UI and forming a large yard. This will also be some sort of garden where NFTs can be seen moving about and chilling. In other words, there will be separate Barns for undeads, just like there are for plants.
Another intriguing addition is the “Alter of Sacrifice“, where users can trade minor NFTs for boosters. Depending on the type of NFT they burn, players can earn Beast or Plant Essence Which they can now use to boost their favourite digital assets from stage 2 to stage 3.
PVU is also doing a graphic overhaul with the launch of Farm 3.3. In this edition, there will be changes from the main menu to include the following:
Speaking of the shop, there will be a new location within it – the LE Shop. Like its name states, users will be able to pay for certain items using Light Energy. However, there will be limits to how much items users can purchase from this shop per day. On the other hand, PVU will restock them at 00:00 UTC everyday. Users can also check back every six hours, as there will be regular flash sales on this platform.
Following the drop in resources available for gathering Plants Vs Undead is making amendments in 3.3. This will take the form of “Premium Gathering Map“. Users who have access to the map will get rare items. To access this section however, they will need to have the “King Key”. Other features coming to this update include Skill Tree and Skill books.

We’re pleased to announce that the long-awaited 3.2 update of PVU would be live soon. In light of these news, we would like share some sneak peeks about what to expect in the next 3.2 update of PVU.https://t.co/QwucpFTtbd#plantvsundead #PVU #factorychain @fac_chain
— Plant vs Undead (@vs_nft) March 21, 2022
Earlier in March, PVU gave insights into this new update. Farm 3.2 will go live on the 22nd of March 2022. By 03:00 UTC, the server will be shut down for maintenance and update. This process may take up to 24 hours or less than that.
To usher in this update, it is launching a Land Offering event and airdrop rewards. Away from the bonuses, even the new edition itself is a joy to witness. It offers a more improved UI and better navigation. As such, players will find managing their farms and lands much easier.
There will be a new mechanic for the fertilizer boost. This will increase the LE generation and harvesting rate. Also, the new Life Circle of the Land will also improve the user experience of players. Speaking of new additions, there will be a revamp of the “Gathering Mode mini-game”. PVU will be enhancing this unique gaming experience by upgrading to Mining Mode.
This mode is far more intuitive and combines well with the style and mechanics of other mini-games. There will be a tutorial to educate games on this new experience.
Another new introduction is the Crafting System. This system is one that allows players to combine lower rarity items and create a higher one. They can also create entirely new items using this system. There are two types of crafting, each serving different purposes. They include:
Asides from the changes to the course of gameplay, there will be significant improvements in terms of UI and UX. As mentioned earlier, the game will be more visually appealing. Also, there will be a new function that will allow you to water all your plants at once. You will also be able to shoo away all the crow with one action. However, this will cost you a little LE.
There are also clear descriptions about how various items function as well as where to find them. Also, the LE to PVU conversion rate will be decreased from 1139 to 999.

To celebrate the success of the Land Offering event, as well as the bright future of PVU, we decide to unleash an Airdrop event to reward all the Land owners.https://t.co/eRrKGCBork#plantvsundead #PVU #factorychain @fac_chain pic.twitter.com/xbpD76yOk8
— Plant vs Undead (@vs_nft) March 18, 2022
The PVU airdrop event will take place in the middle of April 2022. Which will be after launch of the FactoryChain that comes after the version 3.3. This will come after the end of the ongoing Land sale. As for the sale itself, it will continue till the 31st of March.
Unlike most airdrops, this reward event will feature the use of NFTs. Buyers will earn these benefits for each portion they buy. These means that, they’ll get more NFTs if they buy more Lands. Plants Vs Undead gave a breakdown of how it will reward users who buy Lands. Below is the breakdown:
For the Ongoing sale:
For Old Land Owners:
PVU is not just rewarding users who will participate in the ongoing land offering. Even users who bought land in the past will receive rewards.
Unlike new users, old buyers will get the same amount of airdrop rewards. Regardless of the amount of Land they own.
Looking at the rewards, all the Plants are Stage 2 plants. This is because PVU will be converting all the current Plants to Stage 1 level after the 3.3 update. As such, it is using this opportunity to give users the more powerful Stage 2 NFTs. Despite these changes, the LE generation rate for respective Plants will remain the same. This is essential to ensuring that it doesn’t hamper the benefits users will be getting. However, they will certainly be changes to appearances and functionality.
Plants Vs Undead also uses these opportunity to appreciate its community. It also promises to keep providing them with the best services.

[PVU: Farm] Farm 3.2 – Insights about new Farm and Lands
We’re pleased to announce that 3.2 is on the way and will be live in the middle of March 2022.
For information about the updated mechanisms in version 3.2 and the New Land Offerings:https://t.co/CrW0hoFB5i#plantvsundead pic.twitter.com/kmrnKiSbeI— Plant vs Undead (@vs_nft) March 9, 2022
According to the announcement from PVU, Farm 3.2 will go live in the middle of march. As mentioned earlier, the focus is to improve the playing experience of Farm mode. Plants Vs Undead wants to unite the theme and style of isometric diorama formed by cubic tiles. It even showed an image of what the new interface will look like. In the new edition, players will be able to manage all their assets in a more direct and immersive method.
Even better, actions like waters of plants or shooing of crows will now be done in a more “gaming-intuitive” way. Furthermore, players will be able to manage their lands in a grid-based interface. Thereby ensuring better navigation and accessibility. As part of making the gaming experience more “real”, the outlook of lands will now change according to the current seasons. Also, players will no longer spend in-game tokens for watering plants and chasing crows.
Since it is now free, PVU will refund owners of pot, watering cans and scarecrows when Farm 3.2. Also, with regard to farming, users with a lot of Lands and Plants can use Water All or Shoo All function. This feature helps you water plants or chase crows from all corresponding Land. However, it will cost some Light Energy.
In addition, players will be able to jump from land to land using the directional arrow. This works faster than having to go backward into the grid-based screen.
The PVU Farm 3.2 will see the addition of new mechanics. One of such is the manner in which plants will now operate. In this soon to be released edition, each land will now have its own life cycle. This cycle will deteriorate with each passing season. However, it will even drain faster when you plant more on the land. When it drains completely, it will enter the “re-cultivation mode”. This mode will last for 14 days and users will not be able to farm during this period.
Another feature coming to this new version of the Farm is the boosting of harvest with fertilizer. Plants Vs Undead will craft Fertilizer as a new item into the game. There will also be new land offerings once the Farm 3.2 drops.

[PVU Farm] Foresight about the PvE 4.0
While waiting for the release of Farm 4.0, we would like to share some information with you about this version. In addition, through this, we also want to strengthen our primary goal; please click here for details:https://t.co/FVe5x8eHEx pic.twitter.com/wBNpmMxUQp
— Plant vs Undead (@vs_nft) March 2, 2022
There will be significant changes to various aspects of gameplay. Below are some of the changes to expect in this new update.
To incorporate the new PVE 4.0, there is need to redesign the current plants. The changes include the size, shape and function. Furthermore, there will be three tiers of plants or evolution stages. Namely: Seedling, Grown and Elders. Seedling plants are the easiest to get access to. Like NFT plants however, their sole purpose is for producing light energy (LE). In other words, you can only use Seedlings in Farm mode, not PVE mode.
Grown plants are more balanced. They produce a higher amount of LE and can serve as Turrets to fight in the PVE mode. Elders on the other end are specifically for fighting in PVE. They posses far better fighting stats than other in-game assets. Also, these plant type has unique abilities to further enhance its capabilities to fight. However, this comes at a low rate of producing light energy.
Away from the plants, there will also be changes to the undead. Earlier on, PVU announced the sale of undead eggs. In this new edition, undeads will help in converting Light Energy to PVU tokens. They can also form part of your army, alongside plants to fight enemies. Just like plants, there will be Juvenile, Grown and Elder tiers of plants. The ones user hatched from the undead eggs are Juveniles.
Unlike plants, undeads can only get better as they evolve. There also no drawbacks in the evolution process of these in-game assets. However, it takes significant time and effort to improve an undead to a higher tier.
In the PVE mode, users will receive plants and undeads in cards. Furthermore, you will combine them with Spell – a third card type. Players can start playing by building a deck of 20 cards. Deploy card plants on the grass lawns and undead cards on the lanes.
However, enemies will continuously attack your assets. Therefore, players can use Spell cards to cause various effects in the course of gameplay. It can range from damaging your opponents to healing your plants or undeads. PVU promises to reveal more details of these updates as time goes on.

Plant vs. Undead will release v3.2 of its game in March 2022 and this will change the look and functioning of the land, Farm, and Plants. At the release of the new version, Lands will be grouped into various types and they will come in different sizes and shapes. All these will add depth and layers to the metaverse economy and the technical areas of PVU.
Playing PVU actively from v3.1 will allow players to earn Token Fragments. When you combine these with the right recipe, you will be able to convert them to a shiny Token, which you can exchange for PVU Tokens. Suffice to mention that each season of the game will create its Token Fragments.
Players will have the opportunity to hatch the Eggs they collect during Gathering trips. These Eggs can be hatched into different types of Undead. By the launch of the v4.0 of the game, which comes with a PVE mode, players will be able to pitch their Undeads and Plants to go head-to-head with enemies to earn rewards.
The v3.3 will launch the in-game Market to enable players to invest LE in important materials and items. There will be numerous merchandise available in the market that players can use for their daily Farming, Gathering, and Undead Catering.
The v3.2 will introduce a new Crafting system. This will play a major role in the PVU gameplay in the nearest future. In this system, players will have two main Crafting methods, which are Mystic Crafting and Formula. Each method has its utilities.
The Tower Defense theme is the core of Plant vs. Undead. The game platform has announced that this major game mode is currently being developed. The Plants and Undeads will all play a pivotal role in the upcoming game.

Undeads play important roles in the PvE mode of the game. This includes converting LE to PVU. Also, undeads offer players additional opportunity to earn extra items. In the PvE mode 4.0, players will be able to utilize these items for various purposes. Considering their role, it is important to ensure their continuity.
Starting from January 24th, the sale will run for 14 days. Over this period, there will be three levels of eggs available during this sale. They include the common egg, rare egg and epic egg. Each egg costs 100 PVU, 250 PVU and 500 PVU respectively. There will be no total cap for the amount of eggs. However, PVU will be enforcing certain restrictions to the ownership of egg. Players can only own a maximum of 2 common eggs, 2 rare eggs and 1 epic egg. These restrictions are necessary to sustaining the in-game economy.
Despite the announcement, Plants Vs Undead did not state the specific benefits of owning undead eggs. However, the game did state that eggs will hatch when Farm 3.1 goes live in February.
Following the closing of the first PVP season, PVU is distributing rewards to winners. The game closed the maiden PVP season by 0:00 UTC on the 23rd of December. Also, distribution was done on that same day. More so, distribution of rewards is automatic once the results were recorded. To claim your rewards, simply go to the leaderboard. On the leaderboard screen, click on the reward box on the left.
There is also another update coming up on the 26th of January. This update is titled Organic Growth. It will feature the following changes:
As part of this update, there will also be changes to plant prices. As mentioned in PVP: A New Reign, Growth Energy (GE) will be the new game currency. Therefore, plant prices will be in GE. Besides plants, mother tree prices will also be in GE. Undead spawning prices will be in growth energy too. For each undead you spawn, your GE income per wave will increase permanently.

This new season will come with certain changes to the course of gameplay. There will also changes to the game’ s reward system. The new offering will be available by the 26th of January 2022. Announcement of this new mode came via the PVU Substack Page. Here are details of the changes you should expect.
Before considering changes in gameplay, let’s examine changes in the in-game economy. This because game’s tokenomics will significantly impact gameplay. In this new season, PVU is introducing a new token – Battle Points (BP). In A New Reign, players will earn BPs from winning battles in the Ranked Mode. However, rewards be according to the NFTs the winner uses while playing. Users can also exchange BPs for FPVUs – 100 BPs = 1 FPVU.
Furthermore, season 2 will be introducing new plants’ attributes. Nature’s Blessing is one of them. This new attribute will have significant impact on how much BPs players will earn per win. The higher a plants Nature’s Blessing, the more its BPs per win and vice versa. Old Offering plant NFTs have lower nature’s blessing while New Offerings have higher nature’s blessing. Minted plants have this attribute in low amount while cloned plants do not have this attribute at all.
Another attribute is endurance, which is only specific to New Offering plants. These plants have a default value of 2 and they have unlimited durability. Plants with an endurance value of 0 will not provide BPs when players use them to win battles. However, players can still deploy them to battles. For every win in the Ranked Mode, the plant’s endurance value will reduce by 1. To ensure balance, PVU will refresh the endurance of plants by 0:00 UTC every day.
In this new season, there will be changes to the course of gameplay. For example, it is renaming Seasonal Mode to Ranked Mode. In addition, PVU will reset all MMR by the end of Season 1. It will also close the normal mode temporally for improvement. Normal mode will return later on with better updates.
Also, there will be a new in-game currency – Growth Energy (GE). This currency is strictly for in-game purposes. You will receive an amount of GE at the beginning of each wave instead of earnings from killing undeads. This currency will not be related to BP or FPVU. Despite the changes, the game remains simple to understand.

It made this announcement via the Plants Vs Undead Telegram Announcement Page. This announcement was made on the 12th of January by 8:15 AM GMT+1. Here are the details of the changes in liquidity to this game mode’s reward pool.
With just 10 days left of the PVP maiden season, fights are becoming exciting. Therefore, Plants Vs Undead is looking to end this season in style. In this regard, it will be adding certain tokens to its PVP Liquidity Reward Pool. Moreso, it will be adding $FUSD and $FPVU tokens to this pool. Even better, players do not have to wait for the next PVP season to get these rewards. PVU will be adding 1,000,000 $FUSD and 2,500,000 $FPVU by 7:30 UTC on the 12th of January.
Speaking of the PVP Season 1, the game will be closing this first season by January 23, 2022. Also, the time for closure is 0:00 UTC. Therefore, players should stack up points on the leaderboard. Once it is 0:00 on January 23, PVU will no longer record any further results. This is because it plans to deliver rewards to the winners on the day it closes PVP’s first season.
In coming days, Plants will be giving further updates about the next PVP season. In the meantime, here are some teasers of what to expect. The new season will come with a new reign. This includes immortal NFTs. There will also be earnings per game as well as a whole new gameplay experience.
On the 11th of January by 23:30 UTC, Plants Vs Undead closed the PVP server for one hour. This did not go down too well with many players. In this regard, they did not hesitate to register their discontent in the comment section. However,
Not up to five hours after that routine maintenance, the game also announced that it will be disabling the LE -> PVU exchange function. By disabling this feature, it will be able to complete a maintenance on that function. This maintenance will take up to 48 hours foe completion. From user complaints, it seems there is to be an issue when users try to swap tokens. Also, some transactions are failing to take effect or appear in receiving wallets.

The aim of this closure is for maintenance. As such, the closure will be temporal. Announcement of this server maintenance was made via the PVU Official Telegram Channel. Here are the details of this maintenance.
The Farm server maintenance will run from 4:00 UTC to 8:00 UTC on the 10th of January. Over the course of this period, players will not be able to partake in gameplay. Also, this update will also affect playing mini games. Players who are playing mini games within the period will be forced to skip them. However, Plants Vs Undead did not state if this will affect the PVP mode of the game.
This maintenance will also usher in the changelog 3.0.1 to PVU. In this changelog, players will get a better fishing experience. The overall gameplay and control in the fishing minigame will improve. Also, PVU is also balancing the stats to provide a better feeling. Besides the stats, it is balancing the drop rates. In other words, players will get higher chances of seeing rare and epic fishes in the minigame.
As mentioned earlier, the maintenance was also due to certain issues. Therefore, there will also be bug fixes and other improvements in this upgrade. Following this update, the User Interface of the PVU Farm will improve. This will help to reduce any pending bugs or issues. Thereby ensuring a better User Experience as well. Also, there is also a better balance to the cost and the rate of stamina.
Plant vs Undead (PVU) is a blockchain-based game where you have to protect a unique mother tree from attacks by the undead. The game is set on Planet Plant, a world where Plant and animals lived in harmony until a meteor full of zombies struck and the “Undead” invaded. The game aims for you to harvest Plant and build an undead and weather resistant farm.
PVU is has several rounds of play. In each round, you must protect your mother tree using 8 unique plants. You will strategically position your plants in an effort to increase their power against the attackers. If you are successful in killing the undead, you will earn energy points or Light Energy (LE). You can use these points to reposition or upgrade your plants. Also, you can exchange them for PVU, the game’s native token or for newer tools to upgrade your plot of land.
